Ireland & Switzerland

We were raised in Athlone, a town in the Irish midlands on Ireland’s longest river, The Shannon.

John now lives in a rural area north of the town surrounded by lakes. He has a purpose built workshop equipped to the highest of Swiss standards.

Stephen lives and works in Neuchatel, Switzerland overlooking the lake. This town and it’s environs have a special place in watchmaking history. Stephen’s workshop benefits from its position at the centre of innovative watchmaking.

Commissions & Unique Pieces.

We are happy to discuss any interesting commissions with collectors. These can range from restoration projects to the commissions of unique timepieces, and can vary in breath and ambition.
These projects may include some element of customisation or difference in decoration or finishing or can invole the making of a new watch from scratch.
This type of project was popular in the Ateliers of old and we are proud to keep up this tradition.
We commence with an agreement to engage in a design study where a collector and watchmaker can agree the scope and timetable of a given project.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in this area.

Maintenance

We have spent enough time restoring watches to really appreciate the value of good After Sales Service.

All mechanical watches require service at regular intervals and our watches are no exception. However because of the high value and the specialised nature of our watches it is especially important that only the most qualified watchmakers work on them. We would always rather service our watches ourselves, but in the event that this is not convenient or possible we will insure that someone we trust can. To this end we are in the process of establishing alliances with a number of independent watchmakers to insure that the expertise to maintain our watches will always be there long after we are gone.
